Things to Love About Fort Worth and Real Estate

Patrizio's, Fort Worth's new italian bistro...yet another thing to love... and this list is growing everyday

Patrizios, Fort Worth's new italian bistro...yet another thing to love... and this list is growing everyday!!!

In looking for a new place to eat with my daughter, mother and 85 year old grandmother(her main entertainment is eating out) we decided to try a new place in So 7 called Patrizios.  We weren't at all sure what to expect, but were feeling adventurous(everyone but the grandmother that is), so we decided to try it and see.

Upon walking into the lovely marble entrance hall with crystal chandelier we thought uh oh!  it is going to be expensive and while we are used to paying Olive Garden type prices for lunch and dinner, the oldies aren't too fond of paying much more than that for food.  The place was beautiful.  I loved the decor and was sure that the food would be quite pricey and I would be forced to listen to ranting about why we were spending so much when my grandmother grew up during the depression.  Too my never ending surprise at first glance at the menu I realized that the owners of Patrizios must have made a mistake on the pricing.  All of the dishes were very reasonably priced, most under ten dollars.

The food was yummy.  The chefs brought the meals to our tables and they were presented very well.

The Italian Cream cake was wonderful.

The staff was excellent and our server Curtis was great!!!  He anticipated our needs and we very much enjoyed the entire experience of which he was a huge part.

Fort Worth just keeps getting better and Patrizios is one of my new favorite places to eat.  I can't wait to go back again.  Maybe this weekend.  YUM!!!

This sounds like a great place to eat.   Next time I am visiting friends in Fort Worth I will have to give it a try.  Yum.

Yes Carolyn, I would highly recommend it.  Very good food, lovely decor and very reasonable prices.

Uh oh... I just looked at the Alfredo Spinach and the Fresh Asparagus... and I am already hooked.  I wonder if this place is a chain, or just a one of a kind ?

They have one in Dallas as well, but I think the waiter was telling us that they might start to franchise.  Don't quote me on that though.  It is making me hungry just thinking about the menu.

I can see that when I get to Fort Worth I will have to check your blog for posts on where to eat and visit.  Thanks for the great post.  It would be great to see some property down there, too.

Don, just let me know when.  I have a new restaurant to try soon and will post about it good or bad...really probably only if it is good.

Anita- I just tried another one and haven't had a chance to blog about it yet.  Also try Taverna downtown Fort Worth.  A bit more expensive, but well worth it.  Yum!!!
